OH. MY. WORD! This week’s episode of Fall in Love With Me was full of so many moments that made my heart flutter that I’m officially declaring it my favorite episode… Well, at least so far!
So we left off last week with an ominous feeling that things were about to fall spectacularly to pieces for OZ and I was afraid Tian Xing was going to try to step in and be the hero but that wasn’t the case. Instead, the success of OZ’s ad for Jia He Realty has brought about advertising deals with four major companies and things for OZ have never looked better. Of course this success has to come with a bit of jealous rivalry from Tian Ji Advertising and a very unprofessional and petty visit from its COO to OZ. I’m not really sure why Lance decided he needed to make such a visit to OZ, as he didn’t really do anything but try to recruit Leo and Xiao Lu but he did almost discover Tian Xing’s alternate identity which, let’s face it, is really why he showed up at OZ that day. (Hooray for plot development…)
I have to say, I thought Tian Xing and Uncle Fu did some pretty quick thinking once Xiao Lu heard of Lance’s imminent visit to OZ and I applaud them for it. If it hadn’t been for Tian Xing’s pre-recorded phone message and Uncle Fu’s well-timed phone call, I’m convinced Lance would have blown Xiao Lu’s cover then and there. Of course having Xiao Lu’s true identity revealed as early as the fourth episode wouldn’t be very much fun so I’m glad things can remain as they are, for the time being at least. Though after this encounter with Lance at OZ, I have a feeling Leo isn’t the only one having suspicions about Xiao Lu/Tian Xing. Like Lance said, he and Tian Xing have been friends since they were kids, there’s no way he’s actually going to believe Xiao Lu isn’t Tian Xing for long.
Speaking of Tian Xing, words cannot express how happy I am to have an episode where he and Le Si can actually spend some quality time together. Sure, the whole being locked in a haunted props warehouse overnight thing was a bit ridiculous but who cares? There were so many hear-fluttering moments while there were there that it made the absurdity of their circumstances inconsequential. The fact that Le Si and Tian Xing could spend an entire night together, cuddled up on a couch under the same blanket, talking themselves to sleep, was enough to make me happy. This entire episode was chock full of proof of Tian Xing’s growing feelings for Le Si but it also gave us a hint about Le Si’s feelings as well. Sure, she may act all tough and unfeeling towards Tian Xing but I’m not buying it at all. You don’t spend the entire night snuggled up in a man’s arms if you’re not attracted to him, haunted, mice-filled warehouse or not.
Poor Leo, he’s going to have quite the time, trying to make himself stand out as Le Si’s head is quickly filling with thoughts of Xiao Lu and Tian Xing. He honestly doesn’t stand a chance (and never did) but I can see him desperately trying to hold on to a girl he never really had, which I’m probably going to find super annoying but we’ll see… I’m just happy that for once I’m not suffering from Second Male Lead Syndrome because the only two guys I can about Le Si ending up with are actually the same man! Woo-hoo! I am, however, very interested in watching the progression between Le Si and Xiao Lu/Tian Xing and I’m even more interested in finding out how Tian Xing is going to handle things once he realizes Le Si has fallen for him. There are so many ways this story could go and though I have my own ideas and theories, I also have a lot of questions… If Le Si falls for Xiao Lu first, how is Tian Xing going to handle it? Will he give up Tian Xing and just be Xiao Lu? Will he attempt to woo Le Si as Tian Xing and make her forget about Xiao Lu? What if, while Le Si is with Xiao Lu she begins to think of Tian Xing, will Xiao Lu let her go to Tian Xing? See? I have so many questions but I’ll stop for now and ask you to take over for me instead.
So now it’s your turn! What did you think of this week’s episode of Fall in Love With Me? Did you love it as much as I did or am I just being too much of a silly fangirl? Which scenes were your favorite? Which made you cringe? Do you have any ideas, theories or questions of your own? I’d love to hear what you’re thinking so be sure to leave me a comment below!

This week, I am so excited for Tian Xing! I suppose Xiao Lu will get his turn with Le Si next.
Lance really has nothing good to do with his life than to hang onto every business deal that went down hill. I think the realty commercial wasn’t that significant at all, but he was going crazy over it for nothing when he probably has a lot of other business already. I’m guessing he will be the main antagonist of this drama.
Leo’s a fool. Growing up with Le Si, he had all this time to woo her if he wanted to, but he didn’t make any significant moves. You snooze, you lose. Now, Le Si is definitely interested in Tian Xing and Xiao Lu.
Personally, I like Tian Xing better or is it because I like snooby jerks?
I’m right there with you when it comes to Tian Xing! I am a total fan! I think a lot of it has to do with the fantastic tension that is always there when he’s around Le Si. They are so good at hating each other but at the same time, there’s this undeniable attraction between them that makes me positively giddy! I’d love nothing more than to see Le Si start to fall for Xiao Lu but then fall harder for Tian Xing and then have to decide between the two. I know they’re the same guy but there’s going to be some major conflict when she realizes she’s fallen for the same guy and I can’t wait to watch it!
You’re right about Leo too! If he’s really been in love with Le Si for all these years, why hasn’t he done anything about it? Even now, when he’s beginning to realize he’s got a rival in Xiao Lu/Tian Xing, he refuses to step up his game. Doesn’t he realize if he wants to end up with the girl, he actually has to let her know how he feels about her? If the reason he hasn’t confessed is because he’s afraid of rejection, then he doesn’t deserve her at all.
As for Lance, you’re right again! He’s such a trouble-making punk! You would think that as COO of a major advertising company, he’d have his hands too full with work to worry about some little, insignificant ad campaign that didn’t matter to him or his company in the first place. I think he’s going to become quite the annoying busy-body as this story progresses and he’s going to cause all kinds of trouble for Tian Xing, Le Si and OZ.
