ZOMBIE’S T-DRAMA REVIEW: Fall In Love With Me Episode 2

going to dieDoes anyone else get the feeling that Xiao Lu isn’t going to be able to keep his true identity hidden for long? I mean we’re only two episodes in and already he’s been accused of being Lu Tian Xing more times than I can count and at the end of this week’s episode, Hong Xiu Luan is mere centimeters away from grabbing Xiao Lu’s shoulder and therefore instantly uncovering his identity. While I don’t really suspect that Lu Tian Xing will actually be discovered my the beginning of the third episode, I do think that he’s going to experience a whole lot of “close calls” between now and that overly dramatic and crucial moment the truth comes out.

silly smile

In the meantime, I’m simply going to enjoy how stinking adorable Xiao Lu/Lu Tian Xing really is because seriously, this guy is just too cute! I love how Lu Tian Xing is secretly using his wealth, power and connections to help Tao Le Si and the struggling OZ Advertising without being overly involved. I hate it when the rich guy gets so involved in trying to help the girl he’s falling for that he makes it impossible for things to work out without him so I think it’s nice that Tian Xing is trying to teach Le Si more than he is do everything for her. Yes, he did contact the other real estate agency and ask them to take a look at OZ’s project proposal but it seems to me that he didn’t force them to pick up OZ as their agency. I’d like to think that OZ won that job on their own merit though now that I think about it, I do have to admit that the entire project proposal was created by Xiao Lu so maybe I’m wrong on just how involved Tian Xing really is… Already I can see that Le Si is going to be extremely upset once she realizes that everything good that’s happening to OZ at the moment is directly related to Tian Xing but for the moment, she’s just grateful for Xiao Lu’s help so I’m happy to leave things at that, at least for now.

stuck watch

What really makes me happy is watching Le Si and Xiao Lu/Tian Xing together. Even when these two are fighting, they’ve got such great chemistry that it makes me want to giggle. How can they be so cute? I love the tense energy between Le Si and Tian Xing every time they’re together because it feels like there’s something more lying just below the surface. I also love that Tian Xing has found a way to connect himself to Le Si through his broken watch because it means that even if things go sour as Xiao Lu (as in he’s discovered and kicked out) Tian Xing will still have a legitimate excuse to keep popping up in Le Si’s life and as we all know, that’s exactly what every love/hate relationship needs in order to thrive. I love watching Le Si and Xiao Lu together, in part because they’re so comfortable together they’re not afraid to look and smile and touch when they’re together and in part because I love watching their soft-spots for each other grow. We may be only two episodes in but the look Xiao Lu had on his face when Weng Li Yang (aka Leo) was chatting with Le Si at the computer really said it all… The green-eyed monster of jealousy has already started to rear its head and I’m giddy with the anticipation of its next appearance.

jealous much

I’m also anticipating Le Si’s growth as a leader of her brother’s company. Whether she likes it or not, Tian Xing has been offering some very good free advice and if she’s smart, she’ll take it and use it to her advantage. I’m sure Le Si is inspired to use her new-found knowledge to prove herself to Tian Xing and that’s fine with me, as long as she’s using that advice to her advantage, I’ll applaud her efforts and cheer her on. I just wish I could understand why she insists on taking the most difficult road (besides the obvious fact that this is a drama and heroines generally take the most difficult path in every situation). I mean really, if an actress has retired and gone into seclusion, your wide-eyed plea to come out of retirement to act in a commercial isn’t going to mean much and Le Si should know this. The world is full of other actors, why must she insist on this one? Of course, it’s because this gives Tian Xing/Xiao Lu a chance to step in and create another “miracle” but it’s still a bit much; of course it could be worse so I won’t complain.

you can never cry

  1. The chemistry is hotter than hot. I think I can squeal many times over. I can’t decide who I would like more…Tian Xing or Xiao Lu? Har har har. I think Le Si loves both and then she’ll be so confused over who she really likes later on. haha..

    1. You know, I was kind of thinking the same thing! That whole scene when Tian Xing’s watch is caught in her hair… Just the look on her face when he was that close and the way she suddenly gasped, like she was surprised at how attracted she was to him at that particular moment, despite her anger… It’s just so great! I can’t wait to see how these “two” couples progress especially if she starts falling for them both! Will she be able to see them as one person? Will she accept them as one person? I’m really dying to know!
