TUNE OF THE WEEK: Teen Top “I’m Sorry”

I'm Sorry 1

You know, I really do try to be fair and (mostly) unbiased in my Tune of the Week selecting, but somehow Teen Top has managed to steal the spotlight, yet again, with their latest release, “I’m Sorry”.

As the title track of their repackaged album Teen Top 20’s Love to Exito, “I’m Sorry” I'm Sorry 2is one of those songs that just stirs something inside of me and leaves me begging for more. Which makes it the perfect title track, don’t you think? There’s just something about the slick R&B feel of this song that makes you want to groove and the horns underlying the rap adds a little touch of funk to this track which I find absolutely fantastic.

As much as I love “I’m Sorry” track in and of itself, it’s really the video that sold me on this track. Oh my goodness! I'm Sorry 6There’s just something wonderful about watching Teen Top dance atop pallets, in an abandoned warehouse, while dressed in suits as snappy as their choreography. Yes, it’s the dancing that first drew me to Teen Top and it’s their dance that has swayed my heart this week. Good grief these boys can dance! While I’m a bit sad Teen Top has decided against making their rounds through the music show circuit with “I’m Sorry” I can console myself by watching this video as many times as I like and there’s always hope a dance practice video will be released in the not-too-distant future. (Wouldn’t that be lovely?)

So what do you think of “I’m Sorry”? Does this song move you the way it does me or is it not really to your liking? I'm Sorry 3What are your thoughts on the video? Do you like it or not so much? Oh, and on a completely different and very fangirly note… What did you think of Niel’s dark hair? Personally, I love it but I’m curious to know what you think. And how about L.Joe’s appearance as the “sexy woman” at the beginning of the video? Now that I know that’s him, I just can’t watch that opening scene without laughing. Anyhoo… You know I always love hearing what you have to say so let me know what you’re thinking by leaving me a comment below!
