Dark, brooding and overrun by vampires, 100%’s newest MV release, “Beat,” Has struck a chord in my vampire-loving soul and I can’t get enough, which is why I had to make it my “Tune of the Week.”
As much as I’d like to just squee over 100%’s vampire concept, I suppose I ought to take a moment to actually talk about “Beat” itself. I have to say, for a song with such a dark MV concept, “Beat” is actually a pretty catchy tune and I like that. You can listen to it multiple times in a row without starting to feel depressed, 
which is good because “Beat” is a song worthy of adding to your K-Pop playlist. With its dance-pop beat and melancholy undertone, “Beat” brings to mind Junhyung’s “Flower” and VIXX’s “On and On” and that’s not a bad thing!
Admittedly what initially drew me to “Beat” wasn’t the song so much as the MV. Being a total vampire junkie, watching the MV is just about the closest thing to fangirl heaven as you can get. I mean really, what could be better than combining 
my love of K-Pop and my love of vampires into one fantastically creepy, vampire-laden music video? It’s like 100% knew exactly what I’d been longing for (well at least since VIXX stopped promoting “On and On”) and delivered a MV to trump all other vampire concept MVs. Thank you 100%! Thank you!
I think that what impresses me the most about 100% is knowing that they released their second mini-album BANG The BUSH this week, despite being down two members. It was just barely two weeks ago that Sanghoon announced he would be stepping down for a while and Minwoo set off to fulfill his obligatory military 
service and yet here 100% stands, wowing us (or at least me) with “Beat.” Ever ready to cheer on those who choose to press on despite hardship, I applaud 100% for stepping up to the challenge set before them. I can only hope that their hard-work, despite adversity, pays off for them in a big way. 100% FIGHTING!
