It seems rather fitting that VIXX waited until after I’d posted last week’s “Tease” to begin teasing for the release of their upcoming mini album. It’s like they knew the release of their first set of photos would nearly kill me, so they decided they’d be nice and let me have one last squee over other groups before they completely took over my brain. Wasn’t that nice of them?
Like I said, as soon as I posted last week’s “Tease” VIXX announced they’d be releasing their 4th mini album, 桃源境, very soon. They also gave us a very handy schedule of their planned teasing so that Starlights world-wide could prepare themselves for their impending death. (Man! They are such kind, considerate guys, aren’t they?) A couple of days later, they began releasing concept photos and I knew, right then and there, that I was never going to survive this comeback.
(Oh boy, have I missed these guys! *siiiiiigggggghhhhhhh*)
I think, more than anything, the reason this comeback is hitting all the feels is simply because it’s been 6 month’s since VIXX last released anything as a group. I know that to those unfamiliar with K-Pop, that doesn’t seem like a very long time but to Starlights (and anyone who’s been into K-Pop for any length of time), that feels like a freaking eternity! I know the boys have all been busy with individual projects and I’m happy they’ve been able to do that, but going 6 months without any sort of VIXX fix has been rough! At least these concept photos have helped to make up for the time we’ve had to spend apart…

As much as I love these photos, it’s the little performance spoiler VIXX released a few hours ago that really has me excited.
I know this clip is only 15 seconds long but OH MY GRACIOUS those are 15 freaking fantastic seconds! I love absolutely everything about this spoiler. I’m just not a fan of how flipping excited it’s made me for this comeback! (I know, I know. I really should learn how to keep my emotions in check… It’s just so hard!) Needless to say, I’m counting down the days to May 15th. The question is, will I actually manage to survive another 6 days of teasing or will VIXX finish me off before then? I suppose only time will tell…
