This week brought with it the final episodes of one of the most melodramatic and tear-filled K-dramas I’ve watched in a while and since I love talking about dramas while they’re still fresh in my zombified brain, I just had to recommend Angel Eyes as this weekend’s drama to marathon. Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Angel Eyes”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Angel Eyes Episodes 19-20
The time has come for us to say goodbye to this bittersweet roller-coaster of emotions, otherwise known as Angel Eyes. Of course before we do that, we have the last two episodes to get through so we’d better get crackin’! Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Angel Eyes Episodes 19-20”
HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: Doctor Stranger Episodes 11-12 (2/2)
Tanya: Can I just say that I’m actually proud of both Hoon and Jae Joon this week? They both have goals. They both have things they can lose. While they struggled, neither was willing to give up their morals. I’m all for that!
Zombie: I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed in Hoon, letting Cha Jin Soo scare him into putting Jae Hee before a patient in need BUT since he decided to stop being selfish and did the right thing in the end, I forgive him and applaud both him and Jae Joon for doing what is right, rather than being total selfish pigs. Hallyu Zombie Drama Review: Doctor Stranger Episodes 11-12 (1/2)
Well this show is certainly never slow on the drama front. I think there is still a lot of internal conflict in all of our characters as they try and figure out exactly what they want to do in their lives, so let’s get to it! FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Lie To Me
This week’s Friday Night Drama selection has been inspired by a conversation I had with a couple of friends of mine, as we started talking about dramas we could never quite bring ourselves to finish. During said conversation, I was surprised to learn that both of my friends had never managed to finish Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan’s romantic comedy, Lie to Me so I decided to feature it as this weekend’s drama to marathon, in the hopes that it would inspire them both to finish, what I thought was an enjoyably fluffy little drama. Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Lie To Me”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Angel Eyes Episodes 17-18
One of the many rules of Drama Land is that things must fall spectacularly to pieces in the penultimate week so they can be miraculously stitched back together for the grand finale, which is exactly what happens in this week’s episodes of Angel Eyes. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Angel Eyes Episodes 17-18”
HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: Doctor Stranger Episodes 9-10 (2/2)
Zombie: So the beans have been spilled and the whole world knows that Seung Hee and Jae Hee are one and the same and all I can say is… FINALLY! Now that we’ve gotten that big mystery cleared up we can finally move on with the rest of the story! (And there was much rejoicing… At least on my part…)
Tanya: I’m happy Hoon finally knows so that a portion of the torment has ended. She has still proven herself to be completely evil and I’m 100% going with my theory that she’s been in on this since she was a little girl. There were greater plans working when those two conveniently met as children. Continue reading “HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: Doctor Stranger Episodes 9-10 (2/2)”
FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: The Master’s Sun
This week I’m recommending what could very well be my all-time favorite K-Drama, though to be honest, I’m not sure I’m ready to commit to one singular dramas as the best ever. However, if I ever were ready to make such a commitment, The Master’s Sun would definitely be at the top of my list of candidates because it is absolutely fantastic!
HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: Doctor Stranger Episodes 9-10 (1/2)
There’s so much mystery in Doctor Stranger that it can be a little difficult, at times to figure out exactly what’s going on. Lucky for us, things are slowly starting to make sense as the story progresses and secrets, both large and small, are revealed.
