Once again a drama was recommended to me as one I needed to watch, so I did, and shock of all shocks, I now find myself now recommending that very same drama to you. Funny how things like that work, isn’t it? Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: One Sunny Day”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 15-16
Am I the only one who can’t believe we’ve come to the end of this drama already? I don’t know why the end took me so by surprise but it did and now here I sit, wondering what I’m going to do with my Sunday afternoons from now on. I’m really going to miss No Ra and Hyun Suk but I suppose moving on is better than dragging things out until they become unbearable. Funny how the lessons you learn in dramas can be applied to real life as well, isn’t it? Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 15-16”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 3-4
I should’ve known that a drama with only 12 episodes would waste no time in bringing on the warm-fuzzies. I have to admit, I wasn’t really expecting to the squishy so soon but I’m not sorry it’s here, nor am I sorry there’s a healthy dose of heartache to balance out the cute. In a high school drama, you really do have to have both if you’re going to have a story worth telling and this is shaping up to be one such a story. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 3-4”
FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: We Broke Up
You know, when it was suggested I watch We Broke Up I thought to myself, “Sure! Why not? I’ll give it a try!” So I did, going into it knowing nothing more about it than that it starred 2NE1’s Dara. Honestly, that was enough of a reason for me to give this drama a go so I didn’t bother to look any more into it. I just dove right in and not two seconds into the darn thing I found myself squeeing so hard I almost fell off the couch! WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME KANG SEUNG YOON WAS IN THIS DRAMA!?! Needless to say, I was immediately hooked and now I sit here trying to find a way to control my spazzing long enough to talk about this cute little drama. Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: We Broke Up”
TUNE OF THE WEEK: Zion.T “No Makeup”
One of my favorite things about music is its diversity. There’s a sound and a song to fit every mood under the sun which means anytime I need a little pick-me-up, all I have to do is scroll through my playlist or wander the vastness of YouTube. It was during one of my many YouTube wanderings that I came across Zion.T’s latest release and OH. MY. WORD. Talk about a sudden rush of warm-fuzzies! Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: Zion.T “No Makeup””
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 13-14
Oh my word! If Cha Hyun Suk isn’t the most adorable thing on the face of the planet, I’ll eat my hat. Okay, so maybe I shouldn’t go that far… I mean I did see a pic of a baby pig eating ice cream the other day and that was pretty darn adorable… But I’ll take Hyun Suk’s adorable dimples and mischievous smiles over the pig any day! Especially now that he’s decided to pour on all the charm… *swoon* Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 13-14”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 1-2
When I sat down to watch the first two episodes of Cheer Up! (aka Sassy Go Go) this weekend, I didn’t really have much of an idea of what I was getting into. I knew Jung Eun Ji, Lee Won Geun and Cha Hak Yeon (aka VIXX’s N) had been cast as leads, which was more than enough enticement for me to give this drama a go, and I knew it had something to do with high school and cheer-leading. In all honesty, I was kinda expecting something more along the lines of Bring it On than anything else so you can imagine my surprise when I walked away from these first two episodes with my heart aching. Obviously these first two episodes moved me which is why I now sit here, ready to dig into this rather surprising drama. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 1-2”
FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Mask
As a drama addict, I’ll be the first to admit there are times when a sweet, fluffy drama is the only thing I want to watch but there are times when something a little more dramatic is what I crave. In a world saturated with melodrama, it can sometimes be difficult to decide which drama I want to have satisfy that craving. My most recent over-the-top melodrama fix came in the form of a highly addicting, 20 episode drama full of ridiculous situations, family turmoil and an incredibly easy-to-love OTP. Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Mask”
TUNE OF THE WEEK: Monsta X “Hero”
When Monsta X released the “special clip” for “Hero” late last week, I nearly squeed myself out of my chair. (What!?! I can’t be the only one who’s squeed so hard I almost fell out of your chair, can I!?!) Needless to say, I had a pretty strong inkling I’d be making “Hero” my Tune of the Week and well… Here I am, attempting to write this post without making a complete and total spazz of myself. ㅎㅎㅎ We’ll see how this goes… Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: Monsta X “Hero””
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 11-12
From bold confrontations to fluttering hearts, this week’s episodes had quite a lot going on and once again I find myself cheering No Ra on as she continues on this journey of self-discovery… self-improvement… self-awareness??? Maybe it’s all of the above? Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 11-12”
