This week was our last two episodes of Bride of the Century. While it is hard to say goodbye to some well-loved characters, we were at least provided some sort of conclusion to all of our on-going story lines… Continue reading “Hallyu Zombie Drama Review: Bride of the Century Episodes 15-16 (1/2)”
Zombie: Can you believe this drama is ending next week? How’d the end sneak up on us so quickly?
Shai: It still feels like it started last week. I just realized it’s about the end. Noooo! *sobs*

It never fails with this drama, just when I think I’ve got this drama all figured out… WHAM! Something comes up, out of nowhere, and throws a great-big-giant monkey wrench into all of my well-thought-out ideas and I’m left wondering just what the heck is going on… Which is probably why I love Bride of the Century as much as I do. Just when you think it’s going to become a more typical (and therefore predictable drama) it surprises you by becoming something so much more than you expected. Tanya: I’m seriously disappointed in ALL of the characters in Bride of the Century this week. I mean, what is this?! Let’s-go-back-to-middle-school-time? How can Doo Rim makes everything her fault and then get angry when Kang Ju blames her? And what is with this childish revenge, Kang Ju? Seriously.

Zombie: Oh my! It seems Kang Ju has finally decided to admit his feelings for Doo Rim… Yay! I just wish he knew that it was actually Doo Rim he loved. Having him be all adorable with Yi Kyung is just a sad waste of aegyo!
Shai: I wanted him and all his aegyo-ness to be in scenes with Doo Rim, but I guess it was to show how much he’s changed. *sigh* That scene with the lingerie was priceless lol

Zombie: Two episodes… Two kisses… So many feels I spent the entire time watching Bride of the Century this week with a ridiculously giant grin plastered all over my face! I can’t help it! I love this drama!
Shai: So much happened this week, I don’t know where to start.
