Today’s one of those days when no matter how hard I try, I just can’t seem to focus on anything. Instead of getting frustrated over my inability to do anything useful, I’ve decided to embrace my inner sloth, while simultaneously indulge my pathetic need to surround myself with pretty. Lots of pretty, if at all possible. And chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate… (Yeah, today is definitely one of those days!) Continue reading “My Current Obsession: 7 First Kisses”
FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Pinocchio
This week’s drama to marathon is easily the best I’ve watched this year and though it’s only January, I’d go so far as to say that Pinocchio could easily be one of the best dramas of 2015. Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Pinocchio”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 18-20
Well my friends, believe it or not Pinocchio has come to an end and I have to say, I’m happy with the way this one turned out. The story wrapped up nicely, the bad guys got what was coming to them, the good guys seem to have found their own versions of “happily ever after.” And surprisingly enough, one very rotten character managed to find redemption which honestly, shocked the snot out of me, not because she found redemption but because I was okay with it. Wow, I must be getting soft! Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 18-20”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 15-17
The penultimate week of a drama is always my favorite as parts of the story begin to come together beautifully while others fall spectacularly to pieces. These three episodes of Pinocchio are no exception to this rule which means we’ve got a lot to talk about, so let’s get to it! Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 15-17”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 13-14
With only three weeks worth of episodes left, things have certainly started to take a darker turn. But that’s as it should be at this point in a drama and I have no doubt that when all is said and done, all will be as it should. There were certainly some moments in these episodes when my heart faltered, just a bit, as Dal Po struggled to find just how far he’s willing to go to have his revenge. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 13-14”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 11-12
I have no idea how the rest of you fared as you watched these two episodes of Pinocchio but I, for one, bawled my eyes out and how could I not? The story of Dal Po and Jae Myeong has me feeling as if my heart has been ripped right out of my chest and all I’m currently hoping for is a chance for these brothers to find a way to live “happily ever after.” Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 11-12”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 9-10
The best thing about Pinocchio is that it’s based on a character who cannot tell a lie and as such we’re experiencing something both new and refreshing as we watch this story unfold… HONESTY! I know, it’s a lot to wrap your head around, a drama full of honesty, but that’s exactly what we have here and it’s making things quite interesting as no secret can stay a secret for long. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 9-10”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 7-8
Brothers meet, feelings are revealed, stories are botched, suspicions rise and lessons are learned in these next two episodes of Pinocchio and I, for one, couldn’t be happier with the way this story is progressing. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 7-8”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 5-6
You know, for a drama that started out with a rather slow and snoozy back-story, this drama has certainly found a way to redeem itself. Six episodes in and we find ourselves with a confession, murder and a very deep-rooted need for vindication. If you ask me, this drama is coming along rather nicely. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 5-6”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 3-4
With introductions and back-story over, it’s time to start in on the meat of this story and I’m happy to say, I like where things are going, even if they are a bit predictable. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Pinocchio Episodes 3-4”
