This week’s tune is one I can’t listen to without smiling. I’m sure a lot of that probably has to do with the fact I can’t help but imagine Hugh Grant popping into the MV at some point with a very flamboyant “Pop! Goes My Heart” but the truth is, even without images of Huge Grant in my head, SNUPER’s “Platonic Love” is a really fun song and one I’ve happily added to my K-Pop playlist. TUNE OF THE WEEK: JJCC “ToDay”
I think I must be really sick of winter or something because I can’t seem to get enough of the adorable spring-ish feeling MVs that keep popping up as I wander the vast expanse of YouTubeLand. Today as I was exploring, I came across JJCC’s latest release and well… I think you already know what’s coming next. Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: JJCC “ToDay””
K-POP ATE HER BRAIN: The Legend “Crush on You”
I know there are ten million other things I could be doing right now but sometimes you come across a song that makes you smile and then that song makes you go back and re-listen to all the other songs by that group and before you know it, you’re so over-run with feels you just have to squee somewhere. So that’s what I’m doing because seriously, The Legend is totally squee-worthy! Continue reading “K-POP ATE HER BRAIN: The Legend “Crush on You””

TUNE OF THE WEEK: KNK “Knock”
This week’s tune took me completely by surprise in the best way possible which is why I’m now sitting here, trying to figure out how to write this post without making a fangirl mess out of myself. (Which, let’s face it, we all know isn’t going to happen…) Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: KNK “Knock””
K-POP ONE-STOP: February 19-16, 2016
As I’m sure most of you have noticed, I’ve been very slacking on my blog posts. Not so much because I’m a slacker but because with the start of the new year came the start of a new job and it’s taken me a while to adjust to being a working mom and a blogger and a full-time drama-addicted K-Pop fangirl. I’m still trying to get this whole thing figured out and, admittedly, it’s taken me a whole lot longer to adjust than I thought it would but what can I do? Life demanded I get a job so here I am. In an effort to keep doing what I love and share as much of that love with you, I’m going to be trying out some new things and this re-vamped K-Pop One-Stop is one of them. It’s surprising how much time it takes to embed each MV into a post and since time is something I find myself running out of on a daily basis, I’m giving this a whirl. Introducing… (this is where you insert the drum-roll and fanfare) Continue reading “K-POP ONE-STOP: February 19-16, 2016”
TUNE OF THE WEEK: B.A.P “Feel So Good”
You know, a lot of really good music came out this week which made it really hard to pick just one song to squeal over but ultimately, my love of B.A.P won out which means I’m about to make a fangirl mess of myself as I talk about their latest release, “Feel So Good.” Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: B.A.P “Feel So Good””
EXO in Chicago: A Zombie’s Recap of the Day She Died
I have an ever-growing bucket list designated just for K-Pop which really, is more like a wish list of groups I want to see in person before I die, and on that list EXO has ranked high for a very, very long time. So when it was announced all those months ago, that one of the stops EXO would be making during their North American tour was Chicago, well, I very nearly dropped dead right then and there. However, I somehow managed to keep myself together long enough to buy a ticket (which also nearly killed me) and endure the endless countdown of days that ultimately brought me to D-Day. Concert Day. Better known as the day the zombie and about 4,000 other fans lost their hearts to the eight adorable members of EXO that fateful Friday night.
