FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Twenty Again

20 again poster

This week’s drama quickly rose to the top of my favorites list when it originally aired. The cast was fantastic, the story was touching and it brought about a lot of self-reflection on my part, which is not something a lot of dramas inspire me to do. When the drama came to an end I was sad to see it go because I felt as if I was being forced to say goodbye to a good friend. Leaving me with so many good vibes, I felt it only fitting to recommend Twenty Again as a this weekend’s drama to marathon. Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Twenty Again”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 7-8

saved her

OH MY HEART! My heart! My heart! My heart! My heart! My heart! This past week’s episodes have done a number on my poor heart and I really have no idea how I’m going to deal with the last four episodes! There are just way too many characters playing games with my poor, fragile heart right now. Ugh! I’m such a mess right now! How’s a zombie to deal with all these feels!?! When You’re Sick On A Friday Night

1

Okay, so really when you’re sick on a Friday night, curling up to marathon a drama sounds like a great idea until you fall asleep half-way through an episode and wake up 10 episodes later. It’s always frustrating when that happens which is why I put off watching new dramas when I’m sick. Instead of risking missing something super important I go back to dramas I know by heart so when I randomly fall asleep, I can wake up however many episodes later and pick right back up as if I’d never been asleep at all. ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 5-6

crying

Before I dive into these two episodes I just have to ask, was I the only one bawling my eyes out for the majority of these episodes? Either I’m getting way too emotionally involved in this story or I’m just far more emotional than is good for me, because I could barely stop crying as I watched Teacher Yang’s career go down in flames. ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 15-16

a kiss in the woods

Am I the only one who can’t believe we’ve come to the end of this drama already? I don’t know why the end took me so by surprise but it did and now here I sit, wondering what I’m going to do with my Sunday afternoons from now on. I’m really going to miss No Ra and Hyun Suk but I suppose moving on is better than dragging things out until they become unbearable. Funny how the lessons you learn in dramas can be applied to real life as well, isn’t it? Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 15-16”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 3-4

going for it

I should’ve known that a drama with only 12 episodes would waste no time in bringing on the warm-fuzzies. I have to admit, I wasn’t really expecting to the squishy so soon but I’m not sorry it’s here, nor am I sorry there’s a healthy dose of heartache to balance out the cute. In a high school drama, you really do have to have both if you’re going to have a story worth telling and this is shaping up to be one such a story. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: We Broke Up

3

You know, when it was suggested I watch We Broke Up I thought to myself, “Sure! Why not? I’ll give it a try!” So I did, going into it knowing nothing more about it than that it starred 2NE1’s Dara. Honestly, that was enough of a reason for me to give this drama a go so I didn’t bother to look any more into it. I just dove right in and not two seconds into the darn thing I found myself squeeing so hard I almost fell off the couch! WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME KANG SEUNG YOON WAS IN THIS DRAMA!?! Needless to say, I was immediately hooked and now I sit here trying to find a way to control my spazzing long enough to talk about this cute little drama. ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 13-14

so so cute

Oh my word! If Cha Hyun Suk isn’t the most adorable thing on the face of the planet, I’ll eat my hat. Okay, so maybe I shouldn’t go that far… I mean I did see a pic of a baby pig eating ice cream the other day and that was pretty darn adorable… But I’ll take Hyun Suk’s adorable dimples and mischievous smiles over the pig any day! Especially now that he’s decided to pour on all the charm… *swoon* Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 13-14”
