wonho and friends

Does anyone else ever feel like dancing just because it’s Friday, or is it just me? I can’t help it, I just really love Fridays and I really love Fridays when they’re filled with music. In an effort to make today (and every Friday) just a little bit more awesome, here’s a quick look at some of this past week’s K-Pop MV releases. Woohoo! RELEASE THE FANGIRL: FANGIRL DOWN! I REPEAT, FANGIRL DOWN!

Group 2

I know there are about a zillion other things I should be doing right now (and I’m very well aware my review of Twenty Again is one of them… Don’t worry, it’s coming.) but you know what? Sometimes a fangirl just has to squee and right now is DEFINITELY one of those times! Continue reading “RELEASE THE FANGIRL: FANGIRL DOWN! I REPEAT, FANGIRL DOWN!”

KCON 2015 LA: A POST OF PICTURES

Monsta X 2

So now that I’ve recounted all my adventures, the only thing I have left to do is share all the pictures I couldn’t squeeze into my original posts. I still have so many to get through it’s probably going to take me the rest of forever but here’s a good handful to get things started. I hope you like them! WHEN KCON CALLS THE ZOMBIE ANSWERS: MY ADVENTURES IN LA – DAY 4

Monsta X fan meet 1

My adventures on Friday must have worn me out because I actually slept in until 7 Saturday morning! Woohoo! Of course everyone else in my room had the good sense to still be asleep at 7 so I got myself dressed and headed to the hotel lobby to call home and tell the family I was still alive and well. Once I convinced the fam I wasn’t dead, I set out in search of the elusive and much-needed coffee. Continue reading “WHEN KCON CALLS THE ZOMBIE ANSWERS: MY ADVENTURES IN LA – DAY 4”

WHEN KCON CALLS THE ZOMBIE ANSWERS: MY ADVENTURES IN LA – DAY 2

Who knew Tic Tacs could be so amusing?

The worst part of being in California is running on Central Time the entire time I was there. Waking up to find it isn’t even 06:00 yet is rather depressing but I expected as much; I did the same thing the last time I was in LA, I just didn’t go strolling along the beach this time… *sigh* Continue reading “WHEN KCON CALLS THE ZOMBIE ANSWERS: MY ADVENTURES IN LA – DAY 2”

WHEN KCON CALLS THE ZOMBIE ANSWERS: MY ADVENTURES IN L.A. – DAY 1

It’s hard to believe a week ago I was surrounded by tens of thousands of Hallyu loving fans from around the world, all gathered together to celebrate one epic weekend of awesome, but I was. (Talk about having your mind blown!) In an effort to keep this most epic of weekends from being lost in the depths of my decaying zombie brain, I’m sitting here, ready to document my adventures. I’m not sure how well I’m gonna survive this (the feelings are still a bit intense) but I’ll do my best. Are we ready for this? Then let’s go! K-POP ONE-STOP: July 10-17, 2015

Jump

Do you ever feel like dancing for no other reason than just because? Well that’s me today. I don’t even have a reason for it, really. I’m just happy it’s Friday. Maybe I’m happy that a week from today I’ll be seeing BTS in person. Maybe it’s because the sun is shining, my kids are playing nicely (for once) or because I ate a giant bowl of kimchi stew for lunch. It could possibly be because we’ve got a bunch of new (and super awesome) K-Pop MVs to watch… Who knows? Whatever the reason, I’m gonna dance. While I watch these videos. Care to join me?
