I know I usually talk about all the latest K-Pop comebacks and upcoming dramas on Tuesdays but today I woke up to G-Dragon’s world tour announcement and I’m just so freaking excited, I can barely think about anything else! With concerts on the brain, I thought it only fitting to take a look at all of the upcoming concerts K-Pop fans here in the U.S. have to look forward to in the coming months. #TBT: BIGBANG “Fantastic Baby”
It’s been over a year since BIGBANG last released their M, A, D, E EPs and that whole promise of a full-length MADE album has yet to be fulfilled. However, after reading yesterday that the group has not only just wrapped up filming for a brand new music video, but also have plans to film another video at the beginning of next month and release that long-overdue MADE album… Well, I’m feeling like right now may be the perfect time to squee. Continue reading “#TBT: BIGBANG “Fantastic Baby””
TUNE OF THE WEEK: Big Bang “Sober”
Okay, okay! I’ll be the first to admit I’m letting my bias groups get in the way of my “objective” Tune of the Week selections but c’mon! It’s not every day you get to write about a new Big Bang song so I’m gonna make the most of this opportunity while it lasts! Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: Big Bang “Sober””
TUNE OF THE WEEK: BIG BANG “Bae Bae” vs. “Loser”
Okay everyone, I have a problem. As you all know, BIG BANG made their comeback this past week and I’m so completely stumped over which of their new tunes I like best. I honestly can’t decide, I love them both! So I need your help in deciding which of these two tracks I should declare to be my Tune of the Week. Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: BIG BANG “Bae Bae” vs. “Loser””
ZOMBIE’S JAMS OF 2014
Jimin may be accused of having no jams but I’ve got them in spades so I thought it’d be fun to share with you my top jams of 2014 because why not? We’ve all got songs we could listen to on repeat for forever and as sucky as this past year was in a lot of ways, it still brought with it a ton of fabulous tunes. (Which may not make up for the parts of the year that sucked but it certainly made dealing with the sucky a bit easier.) So here are the artists, albums and tunes that brightened my 2014… Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S JAMS OF 2014”

RELEASE THE FANGIRL! GD x TAEYANG “GOOD BOY”
While I realize GD and Taeyang released “Good Boy” a couple of weeks ago it was right in the middle of my massive attack of VIXX feels and I didn’t really have a chance to squee properly at the time. I was a bit saddened by this because well, it’s G-Dragon and Taeyang and I just couldn’t understand how could I possibly miss an opportunity to squee over these two! I feel like I failed as a fangirl… *sobs* Lucky for me these two released a dance practice video for “Good Boy” on Monday so even if I’m a couple of days late with this, I can still make up for all the squees I missed the first time around. Yippee! Continue reading “RELEASE THE FANGIRL! GD x TAEYANG “GOOD BOY””

FROM B1A4 TO VIXX: KCON 2014 in Pictures, Part 2 – Saturday Night’s Concert
I know I wasn’t the closest you could get but here’s my pictures from Saturday night’s concert, just the same. If nothing else, at least you’ll get a glimpse of what it was like to see so many amazing artists in the same night. It was a fangirl’s dream come true! FROM CHICAGO TO KCON: ZOMBIE’S ADVENTURES IN L.A. – DAY 4
Saturday. D-Day. KCON Day 1. Whatever you want to call it, I woke up the next morning with a stomach full of butterflies, more nervous than I had ever been before in my entire life. Looking back, I’m not even sure why I was such a nervous wreck but I was. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that I had psyched myself out so much over KCON that I was afraid I was going to be disappointed at the end of it all. (Thank goodness I was totally wrong on that score!) Too nervous to eat, drink, or do pretty much anything else, I got up, donned my VIXX G.R.8.U. cosplay costume (with all the checkers) and spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out what to do with my hair. (Which ended up being not much because my hands were too shaky to handle anything but the most basic tasks.) At least I wasn’t alone in my suffering, Tanya was every bit as jittery as I was and we were in such an awful state that we rushed out of the hotel without grabbing breakfast or (gasp!) even coffee. (A mistake we would come to regret all. day. long.) Continue reading “FROM CHICAGO TO KCON: ZOMBIE’S ADVENTURES IN L.A. – DAY 4”
