SubKulture Entertainment Announces DAY6 LIVE & MEET IN NORTH AMERICA 2017 Tour

I’m sure that by now, all of you have heard that JYP Entertainment’s one and only rock band will be making their way across North America later this fall. But on the off-chance that you have’t heard the news just yet, allow me to join you in a much-needed moment of over-excited squealing because OH MY GIDDY FLIPPING AUNT! DAY6 IS COMING TO TOUR NORTH AMERICA AND I’M SO HAPPY I THINK I’M GONNA CRY!

Actually, I think my tears are more from the fact they’re not stopping in Chicago during this tour but whatever. I’m doing my best not to be salty on that point and instead focus on how amazing it’s going to be for those of you who are going to have the chance to see this incredibly talented quintet in person. (No, I’m not jealous! Not at all! *as I attempt to hold back all the tears*)

Peaking at the #2 spot on the Billboard US World Albums chart and defying the standards of the K-pop genre, DAY6 is a band unlike any other. The boys themselves are constantly fighting the idol stereotype which, if you happen to follow the group’s lead vocalist/guitarist/hashtag king/swag chicken, Jae on Twitter, you know, he’s constantly reminding people DAY6 isn’t an idol group but a rock band. This probably explains why I fell so hard for these boys when they debuted. Because believe it or not, rock ‘n roll is what actually flows through my veins and I kid you not, the music these boys puts out, speaks to my soul on a level very few groups can. Seriously, this year of monthly releases has been the absolute best thing DAY6 could have possibly done and even though I’m sure it’s been hard on them, it’s been the salve to heal this wounded zombie’s soul.

That’s why I’m so flipping excited that JYP Entertainment and SubKulture Entertainment have teamed up to present the DAY6 LIVE & MEET IN NORTH AMERICA 2017 tour!

In addition to performing some of their hit tracks, DAY6 will engage fans in an intimate fanmeet setting through games and a Q&A session! Which you know is going to be so freaking fun because not only are these boys ridiculously adorable but they’ve got a sense of humor that absolutely kills me. Not only that but I’ve seen these guys perform in person twice and I’m not even kidding when I say that they’re absolutely incredible live. Like, I can’t even begin to describe to you, how freaking amazing they are in person. You just have to trust me when I say that this is one show  you’re not going to want to miss! (Which is why I’m sobbing my eyes over them not making a stop in Chicago! I need this level of awesome to come back into my life! Really, I do!)

But enough of my patheticly sad fangirling…

The band’s first North American tour is scheduled to take place in late October 2017, hitting up the following five cities/venues:

Of course as soon as that information becomes available, I’ll be sure to share it and you know I’ll be promoting the crap out of this tour because even if I can’t make it to one of these shows in person, you can bet your sweet boots, I’m going to be telling you all to be there so you can show these boys all the love I can’t give them myself. Seriously guys! You have to go to these shows and give these boys all the love in the world because they deserve it and you have to fangirl in my stead. Please! They need to feel this Zombie’s love, even if I’m not there in person! (No, I’m not desperate! I don’t know what you’re talking about! ㅎㅎㅎ)
