RELEASE THE FANGIRL! OH HELP! BTS IS TRYING TO KILL ME!

Group 2

Okay, so in the past week I’ve painted half a house, packed a different house, moved to a new state, unpacked a zillion boxes and have basically run myself ragged and with all of this crazy “real life” stuff, which means I’ve been completely unable to properly squee over BTS. Until now…

AAAAUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

Sorry, just had to get that out of my system…

I’m better now.

I think.

I’ll try to be anyway, I’ve got a lot to squee about!

group 1

It all started with Rap Mon and his collaboration with Warren G. I knew this was coming. I knew it was going to be epic but I was still floored by it, once it was released.

But “P.D.D.” was only the beginning. Rap Mon had to continue to slay me with the release of “각성”…

and “Do You”…

and OH MY GIDDY FLIPPING AUNT I THINK I’M HAVING A HEART ATTACK!

Rap Monster 2Well, I was the first hundred times I watched this last MV. Good gracious! Rap Mon! Please! My poor zombie heart can’t handle all of these feels you’re inspiring!

I’ve always been a fan of anyone who doesn’t give a flip about what others think and are dedicated to being true only to themselves (that’s why I love GD as much as I do) so it only makes sense that I should be squeeing over Rap Mon and his mixtape. J-Hope 2I really can’t help myself. This boy is embracing all that he is and he’s telling the world to do the same and all I can do is sit here and cheer him on. (I kinda feel like a proud mama hen, cheering for one of her little chicks… Weird.)

In the middle of all my squeeing over Rap Monster’s solo work, BTS decided now would be the perfect time to pound the nail into my coffin by announcing their U.S. tour, coming to MY CITY, this summer and ASDFGHJKL! THE FEELS MAN! ALL THE FEELS!

TRB

Jungkook 2Talk about a wonderful way to get through the stress of a move! Finding out one of your top bias groups is planning on visiting your city in the near future is a fantastic stress reliever, though it does make getting your work done a teensie bit harder… I had to take a break from all of  my packing to run around the house screaming and jumping and dancing and whooping for joy while I fought back tears (and no, I’m not exaggerating this at all. Ask my little zombies, they’ll tell you… They looked at me like I was a crazy person… Hmmm…) and then I had to spend the next hour or so squeeing with friends and total strangers alike because OH HOLY FLIP! BTS IS COMING TO CHICAGO IN JULY!

V 2To say I’m excited for this concert would be a bit of an understatement. I know I saw these boys back in August but watching them perform five songs is not the same as watching them for an entire concert and AAAAUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH! Sorry, the feels got the better of me again. (I blame it on a ridiculous lack of sleep… Zombies get weird when they’re exhausted.)

Suga 2If anyone out there is planning on going to the Chicago stop of the BTS tour, keep an eye out for the overly-excited, pink-haired zombie (which would be me) and don’t be afraid to come over and say hi. I’d be more than happy to squee with you over BTS in person! OH GOOD GRACIOUS! I’M GONNA SEE BTS IN PERSON! WAAAAAHHHHH!

Whoops! The feels got the better of me again. Sorry about that!

Moving on…

Jin 2If Rap Mon’s solo work and the promise of seeing BTS in concert in July wasn’t enough to do me in, these wonderful boys had to further ensure my death by announcing a comeback later this spring and all I can do is sit here and cry. I still haven’t fully recovered from Dark and Wild yet and now I have to prepare myself for a new album!?! I don’t care if it’s a full-length album or another mini, the fact that BTS is making a comeback is enough to have me squeeing like the fangirl that I am and I’m so over the moon, I can’t even think straight! Just thinking about having a new MV to squee over… A new album to add to my collection… All the promotions and live performances to watch… Jimin 2All the lovely that will be flooding my timelines… AUGH! It’s enough to make a grown zombie cry! *sobs*

I suppose I ought to wrap up this moment of squealy fangirliness before I make a total fool out of myself (though it’s probably too late for that…). Let’s just say I’m incredibly happy at the moment and there is much I’m looking forward to in the not-too-distant future. In the meantime, I think I need to go back and re-watch pretty much everything on BANGTANTV because, why not? Those silly Bangtan Bombs make me laugh so much and I will never ever ever ever ever get tired of watching dance practice videos… *sigh*

  1. Sounds as though you have had a rough couple of days (if not weeks) I’m glad that BTS came though for you. 😀
I hope everything is going well for you.

    1. Thank you! Things have been ridiculously busy lately but I’m surviving and everything is starting to settle down so I can finally start to get back to fangirling and other such shenanigans. ㅋㅋㅋ
