Zombie: To wrap up the month of February, we’ve decided to each pick a MV from the past month to talk about (or drool over…) so let’s get to it…

KpopKolorado: Ah, okay, just for you missienelly, I’ll watch C-Clown. 🙂 Even though I wasn’t able to even get through the first minute of the MV when I tried watching it last week, I’ll give it another shot.

missienelly: Saw once, but listened to it all the time from my iTunes 😉

Zombie: So, you said you couldn’t even get through the first minute the first time you tried to watch this. How’d you fare this time?
KpopKolorado: Yah, it’s lack of originality killed it for me. I bought the song on iTunes and love it, but the MV with it’s ‘warrior theme’ is just too much like BTS and Topp Dogg and they completely nailed it, so by comparison, this was kind of a downer to watch. It’s more fun this time though cuz I already love the song and have loved C-Clown for 5ever.
missienelly: It has that Topp Dogg sound to it, especially with the gong sound. To be honest, I’m not used to this hearing C-Clown like this. It’s certainly different.
KpopKolorado: Word. I’m more partial to the ballad-y C-Clown fo shizzle
missienelly: That’s right… they are exploring I guess…
Zombie: I’m cool with artists exploring new territory if what they find is pleasing to the ears and I think “Justice” is, so it’s all good.
missienelly: I especially love the chorus part…
Zombie: It makes you want to dance… Or is that just me?
missienelly: I’m dancing now! And it’s a great workout song! Just stick your tongue out at the “ha!” part. lol
KpopKolorado: Rome certainly has become a man *coughpedonoonacough*… at least he’s of legal age…whew – I had to Google to make sure 😀
Zombie: hahaha! At least you’ve found the bright spot in this MV, he should make up for its otherwise lacking qualities, right?

missienelly: To be honest, I’ve been listening to their songs all the time but never, NEVER, curious in getting to know them. I fail as a fan! LOL

missienelly: Sadly, I love the song but not the MV. they should go back to doing ballad songs again coz they rock it in “Solo and Cold” and whatever else I couldn’t remember… lol They aren’t as big as other kpop groups too… too bad.
Zombie: Yeah, it pains me to say this but this MV isn’t really anything special. There’s nothing in it that stands out and makes me go “Wow!” Fun song, boring MV and so we move on to KpopKolorado’s MV: BTS “Boy in Luv”

KpopKolorado: On a serious note though, this MV is jinjja daebak! It shocked the hell outta me the first time I saw it, cuz I was like “How did they know???” I felt like girls’ secrets were being revealed big time! Also, I get that people are saying they copied EXO with the whole school uniform theme, etc., but their choreography is always so original and my BABY THUGZ GO HARD!. It really impressed me – and it’s not just cuz I’ve been a huge fan since I saw “No More Dream” on Inkigayo last year. They have true passion and originality and I love how each of their individual personalities is displayed in this MV.
missienelly: Frankly I’m just okay with this MV but the dance move is sure fascinating to watch. I’m more drawn to the song itself. It’s catchy, it’s awesome and the beat is great!
Zombie: Seriously! Every time I watch this MV I’m amazed at how much it gets to me. It’s just so… I can’t even… That whole “bad boy” image they’ve got going on is lethal but when they get to that bridge (aka confession) I just lose it… What girl doesn’t secretly want to win the heart of the hot bad boy? *swoon*

Zombie: Oh, I knew exactly what you meant! It’s like they made this MV just for me (and the rest of the fangirl world of course… Can’t be selfish now, can I?)
missienelly: If you notice on the YT page, the ent company (1theK) is former Loen Music. So they are experienced in making great MVs
KpopKolorado: Does Jimin’s mopping the bathroom and creepily smiling at Kookie in the next urinal make anyone else question this MV though? Ahhhhhhccckkk! If there’s one thing I NEVER want to see in a hot boy MV: it’s peeing…
Zombie: Bwahahaha! I’m not really sure why peeing is what all bad boys do in MVs. G-Dragon peed on a wall in “Crooked.” Apparently only the baddest of the bad boys pee…

Zombie: So the first hundred times I listened to this song I was like, “Hey, it’s pretty cool,” but at about 101 I realized it’s really not as exciting as I’d originally thought… Musically, that is. It’s very repetitive. The MV, however, is quite the visual treat!
missienelly: What an interesting song! MV is… okay. Just bunch of boys bouncing here and there…
Zombie: LOL! I just said this song was boring and you said it was interesting… We’re so confused!
missienelly: I’m not sure where they are going with the song and that’s why I said interesting. It’s like dance meet pop meet ballad. Lots of minor notes in this song.
KpopKolorado: Oh! I’ve never heard/watched this one….three notes in and I’m like YAASSSS!! I’ll brb gonna research if their back-up dancers are from Prepix. Google is saying that this song is the first in their “Fantasy Trilogy” cool. The dance is hype! I love the “canon dance” and the “airplane dance”!
Zombie: The “Fantasy Trilogy” idea is cool, though I’m hoping the “fantasy” part of that includes a bit more variety in their musical composition… Their dancing is the best part of this MV. Well that and, oh crap, my halmeoni brain has totally lost his name… the blue hair… I’m totally loving the blue hair!
missienelly: Exactly! There is no “video game” or “fantasy” element in this song at all. Well… there are, at the beginning and ending part.
