K-POP ONE-STOP: February 4-10, 2017

Oh happy day! It’s finally Friday! I think I may end up singing everything I say today, just because I’m so flipping happy this week is finally over! (Be glad my singing can only be heard by myself!) To celebrate this most wonderful day of the week, I’ve got a brand new playlist full of all kinds of goodness, made just for you! Woohoo!

I’ve already expressed how I feel about Block B, SF9, DAY6, Cross Gene and Jung Joon Young’s new tracks, so I won’t say anything more there but that doesn’t mean I can’t squeal over other things! NCT Dream’s new track, “My First and Last” is SUPER CUTE and, of course, I love it. Sandeul’s track for the My Shy Boss OST is fantastic but really, when does Sandeul ever release anything that isn’t fantastic? I really enjoyed BEATWIN’s new track, “Don’t Leave” and Crucial Star’s “You Can Rest” was just so lovely. I added MASC’s “Tina” to the list because even though it was technically released in January, it was re-uploaded after some issues with the initial upload and well, it’s just too good to pass up on! San E’s “Counselor” is about as real as you could ever possibly get in a song which makes it both fantastic and heartbreaking. I really love how Korean artists are starting to be more open about their personal struggles. It not only makes them easier to relate to as people but it adds so much more depth to their music. When they’re writing and performing music that’s from the deepest places in the heart, it’s impossible not to love and I really admire San E for being so open in his latest track. You know it couldn’t have been easy, writing this, but he did and it’s fantastic. Of course there are lots more videos I could talk about but life is calling and so I must answer. If you’ve found a new favorite track this week, I’d love to hear about it so be sure to leave me a comment below!
