K-POP ONE-STOP: December 3-9, 2016

You know, nothing helps fight off a cold better than a playlist full of brand new music. Okay, so maybe chicken soup and vitamin C might be a little more practical for cold-fighting but the music helps make all those miserable hours, lying on the couch, imagining the death of the evil soul gave you this cold in the first place, more bearable. (Hey, what can I say, I get overly dramatic when I’m sick! Or maybe that’s just me all the time???)

Dramatics aside, this week brought with it a whole new string of really great music. Being sick must have put me in a more mellow mood because I’ve really enjoyed some of the ballads this week. GLABINGO’s two tracks almost had me in tears, they were so heart-warmingly sappy and Suran’s new track, “Winter Bird,” gave me chills, it was so good. Seriously, her voice is just so fantastic! *sigh* It’s voices like hers that really make me wish I could sing. PENTAGON came back with a new mini-album this week and I have to say, I’m really loving their new track, “Can You Feel It.” I’m also really loving SEVENTEEN’s new track, “BOOMBOOM” and I don’t care how many versions of “Skydive” BAP releases, I’ll never be able to handle it. *insert fangirl meltdown here* Monsta X’s self-cam version of “Roller Coaster” was the cause of another happy fangirl meltdown. I swear, those boys know exactly how to get to me. They make me smile so much, just with their cuteness, and (of course) I love them for it. I really am such a hopeless fangirl!

Obviously I have a lot to squeal over this week but really, when do I not have a lot to squee over? The real question is, which new tracks are you loving? Did you find any new music to add to your playlist this week? Let me know in the comments below!
