HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: My Lovable Girl Episodes 9-10

Myungsoo kills me

Hallyu Tanya and I are back with our take on episodes 9-10 of My Lovable Girl and I have to say, I’m feeling all sorts of feels over our OTP and adorable second. Please someone, please tell me I’m not the only one suffering over these kids!

So tell us, what are your thoughts on these two episodes? Are you as conflicted as I am over Hyun Wook and Se Na’s relationship? Are you cheering for them or does that whole dead sister thing, hanging over their heads, kind of throw things off? What about Shi Woo and Se Na? Do you see things happening there or is Se Na too into Hyun Wook to ever consider Shi Woo? What do you think of Jae Young and Hae Yoon? Do you think one of those two will be the one to spill the beans about Se Na’s sister or will Hyun Wook be able to tell the truth himself? As always, we’d love to know what you’re thinking so be sure to leave us a comment below!

  1. Se Na is too into Hyun Wook to even see that Shi Woo really likes her. And he likes her a lot! He’s so darn adorable!! I wish he had really kissed her in the hospital – maybe it would awaken her from the hypnotic state Hyun Wook seems to put her into.

I’m mad that Hyun Wook would show so little regard for SeNa that he’d go back to her without telling her that he was her sister’s boyfriend. Especially when he knows that his blabber-mouthed, jealous, stalker friend knows the truth. Tell Se Na and then let her make up her mind about whether or not she can live with the fact that he’s not only “gotten busy” with her sister, but was also the one who put her in harm’s way by pulling over to the side of the road after a fight. I’m more than a little tired of the push and pull here. Man up, buddy. You could learn a thing or two from Shi Woo. It’s going to be ugly when the truth comes out and SeNa is going to be the casualty. That makes me sad. Maybe, just maybe, this time the second lead can get the girl??? That would make me so happy.

    1. Oh gosh! I’m hoping against hope that Shi Woo is the one who will actually end up with Se Na! As much as I like Hyun Wook as a person, the fact that he was with Se Na’s sister first just doesn’t sit well with me. There are times when I want to cheer for him but when it comes right down to it, I’m rooting for Shi Woo all the way. He’s such a sad case and he desperately needs Se Na and I’m such a sucker for the down-and-out guys who get their lives turned around by the clueless girl. I just hope Se Na realizes that Shi Woo is, if nothing else, at least a worthy candidate for her affection and I’m hoping that as the story plays out, these two will find that they’re actually better suited for each other than Se Na and Hyun Wook. I’m sure all of this is just wishful thinking but a girl can hope, can’t she?
