Well this show is certainly never slow on the drama front. I think there is still a lot of internal conflict in all of our characters as they try and figure out exactly what they want to do in their lives, so let’s get to it!
Oh the drunken shenanigans! Am I the only one that found this whole sequence hilarious? Between guys waking up in bed together, then freaking out, to that weird mannequin and Soo Hyun not even remembering why they were in her house…. it was priceless. It was even better when the two doctors saw Hoon and Soo Hyun’s clothing everywhere and assumed they had slept together just to see that they hadn’t even gotten close. And she beats them up with the mannequin’s arm. I could not stop laughing.
This week wasn’t all giggles though. There is so much conflict between everyone in this show, including within themselves. Soo Hyun isn’t sure what to think about Jae Joon or Hoon. I’m not either actually. I know both of them care about Soo Hyun, but to what extent? I don’t think Jae Joon actually loves her enough to be romantic and Hoon is so blinded by Jae Hee that he doesn’t know.
Speaking of Jae Hee, her little tantrum of jealousy made me laugh. I still don’t feel like she cares about Hoon other than her mission. That may be unfair, but every week it is becoming more and more clear to me that this their whole relationship has been fabricated since they were kids. Even once General Cha kidnapped them and held her hostage last week, she still was very clearly about the mission once she was away from Hoon so he couldn’t hear. She just needs to go!
The current patient has both of our male leads questioning themselves. What’s more important? Their goals or their morals? Both chose their morals in the end and I’m happy to see that. Your basic morals guide the person you are despite the situations that turn you into who you are. Clinging to morals is important…. thus you have two fantastic surgeons working on the same patient because they can!
So tell me what you think about the relationships happening in Doctor Stranger. Any thoughts on what will be happening to Jae Hee in the end? What’s going to happen between Jae Joon and Hoon now that they have entered the OR together? Let me know in the comments below!

I absolutely LOVED that “morning after” scene. Seeing them all in their boxers was hilarious!
I’m also in total agreement with everything else you’ve mentioned.
Jae Hee and Jae Joon have a lot in common. Their displays of jealousy are pride driven and NOT love driven.
Two surgeons for one patient was great…but I was worried about the bleeding patient as they all stood there, staring up. LOL
I was worried about that too, actually. I understand the need to pause for dramatic effect but why must you do that when a patient is bleeding out on the table in front of you? Save those poignant stares for after you’ve saved the patient, not while she’s on the brink of death! *smh*
The “morning after” scene was absolutely hilarious! In the midst of such an intense drama, it’s nice to have a little comic relief once in a while. I love seeing the lighter side of these characters from time to time and this scene was absolutely fantastic in that respect. I was cracking up the entire time! So funny!
