ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Oh My Venus Episodes 1-2

in the rain

After waiting for what feels like forever, So Ji Sub and Shin Min Ah‘s new drama, Oh My Venus, has finally started airing and since I can’t say no to anything with So Ji Sub in it, I had to start watching it. Of course it took all of 2 seconds of So Ji Sub screen time to convince me I wanted to keep watching this drama but I wasn’t quite as convinced it was one I wanted to review. And yet, here I sit, writing this first review which means something had to have happened along the way to convince me this was one worth my time. The question is, what was it? ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 11-12

my cutie

I know I’m late in getting this final review up and I’m sorry about that. Life just happens sometimes and there’s not much I can do about it. I just gotta catch up when I can so that’s what I’m doing. Or I will as soon as I stop sobbing over Seo Ha Joon… Curse my weak heart! Always falling for those adorable, wounded, softhearted seconds begging desperately do be loved! Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 11-12”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 7-8

saved her

OH MY HEART! My heart! My heart! My heart! My heart! My heart! This past week’s episodes have done a number on my poor heart and I really have no idea how I’m going to deal with the last four episodes! There are just way too many characters playing games with my poor, fragile heart right now. Ugh! I’m such a mess right now! How’s a zombie to deal with all these feels!?! Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 7-8”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 5-6

crying

Before I dive into these two episodes I just have to ask, was I the only one bawling my eyes out for the majority of these episodes? Either I’m getting way too emotionally involved in this story or I’m just far more emotional than is good for me, because I could barely stop crying as I watched Teacher Yang’s career go down in flames. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 5-6”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 15-16

a kiss in the woods

Am I the only one who can’t believe we’ve come to the end of this drama already? I don’t know why the end took me so by surprise but it did and now here I sit, wondering what I’m going to do with my Sunday afternoons from now on. I’m really going to miss No Ra and Hyun Suk but I suppose moving on is better than dragging things out until they become unbearable. Funny how the lessons you learn in dramas can be applied to real life as well, isn’t it? Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 15-16”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 3-4

going for it

I should’ve known that a drama with only 12 episodes would waste no time in bringing on the warm-fuzzies. I have to admit, I wasn’t really expecting to the squishy so soon but I’m not sorry it’s here, nor am I sorry there’s a healthy dose of heartache to balance out the cute. In a high school drama, you really do have to have both if you’re going to have a story worth telling and this is shaping up to be one such a story. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 13-14

so so cute

Oh my word! If Cha Hyun Suk isn’t the most adorable thing on the face of the planet, I’ll eat my hat. Okay, so maybe I shouldn’t go that far… I mean I did see a pic of a baby pig eating ice cream the other day and that was pretty darn adorable… But I’ll take Hyun Suk’s adorable dimples and mischievous smiles over the pig any day! Especially now that he’s decided to pour on all the charm… *swoon* Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 13-14”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 1-2

oops

When I sat down to watch the first two episodes of Cheer Up! (aka Sassy Go Go) this weekend, I didn’t really have much of an idea of what I was getting into. I knew Jung Eun Ji, Lee Won Geun and Cha Hak Yeon (aka VIXX’s N) had been cast as leads, which was more than enough enticement for me to give this drama a go, and I knew it had something to do with high school and cheer-leading. In all honesty, I was kinda expecting something more along the lines of Bring it On than anything else so you can imagine my surprise when I walked away from these first two episodes with my heart aching. Obviously these first two episodes moved me which is why I now sit here, ready to dig into this rather surprising drama. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheer Up! Episodes 1-2”

ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 11-12

at the spa 2

From bold confrontations to fluttering hearts, this week’s episodes had quite a lot going on and once again I find myself cheering No Ra on as she continues on this journey of self-discovery… self-improvement… self-awareness??? Maybe it’s all of the above? Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Twenty Again Episodes 11-12”
