TUNE OF THE WEEK: MAMAMOO “Mr. Ambigous”
Mamamoo made their official debut this week with “Mr. Ambigous” and since it’s easily one of the most fun, most catchy songs of the summer I just had to feature it as my Tune of the Week. Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: MAMAMOO “Mr. Ambigous””
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Angel Eyes Episodes 19-20
The time has come for us to say goodbye to this bittersweet roller-coaster of emotions, otherwise known as Angel Eyes. Of course before we do that, we have the last two episodes to get through so we’d better get crackin’! Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Angel Eyes Episodes 19-20”
HALLYU ZOMBIE DRAMA REVIEW: Doctor Stranger Episodes 11-12 (2/2)
Tanya: Can I just say that I’m actually proud of both Hoon and Jae Joon this week? They both have goals. They both have things they can lose. While they struggled, neither was willing to give up their morals. I’m all for that!
Zombie: I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed in Hoon, letting Cha Jin Soo scare him into putting Jae Hee before a patient in need BUT since he decided to stop being selfish and did the right thing in the end, I forgive him and applaud both him and Jae Joon for doing what is right, rather than being total selfish pigs. FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Lie To Me
This week’s Friday Night Drama selection has been inspired by a conversation I had with a couple of friends of mine, as we started talking about dramas we could never quite bring ourselves to finish. During said conversation, I was surprised to learn that both of my friends had never managed to finish Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan’s romantic comedy, Lie to Me so I decided to feature it as this weekend’s drama to marathon, in the hopes that it would inspire them both to finish, what I thought was an enjoyably fluffy little drama. RELEASE THE FANGIRL! Boyfriend “Alarm”
As we all know, Boyfriend is back and their promotions for Obsession are in full swing (and all the Bestfriends in the world rejoiced). After a year and a half of silence, it seems Boyfriend has decided that the only way to make up for their long absence is by bombarding their fans with a flood of adorableness so powerful it knocks us all off our feet and personally, I’m okay with that. After wowing Bestfriends with their rougher, tougher, bad boy image in “Obsession,” Boyfriend has taken a much larger step towards proving their maturity by releasing the soulful and quite lovely “Alarm.” Continue reading “RELEASE THE FANGIRL! Boyfriend “Alarm””
