RELEASE THE FANGIRL! GD x TAEYANG “GOOD BOY”

title

While I realize GD and Taeyang released “Good Boy” a couple of weeks ago it was right in the middle of my massive attack of VIXX feels and I didn’t really have a chance to squee properly at the time. I was a bit saddened by this because well, it’s G-Dragon and Taeyang and I just couldn’t understand how could I possibly miss an opportunity to squee over these two! I feel like I failed as a fangirl… *sobs* Lucky for me these two released a dance practice video for “Good Boy” on Monday so even if I’m a couple of days late with this, I can still make up for all the squees I missed the first time around. Yippee! Continue reading “RELEASE THE FANGIRL! GD x TAEYANG “GOOD BOY””

RELEASE THE FANGIRL! MAMA 2014

EXO 1

You know, when I woke up this morning and realized I was up early enough to catch part of the 2014 MAMA broadcast live, I was pretty stoked. It’t not every day you get to settle in front of your computer with a cup of coffee and a slice of banana bread and watch so many of your favorite idols perform in one place and I thought to myself, “Oh, what a lovely way to start my day!” I should have known that the calm and peaceful morning I’d been expecting was never going to happen because, well, anything involving K-Pop generally ends in me spazzing. WHEN A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS: VIXX IN CHICAGO (Part 1)

Group 1

Okay, so here’s the deal. I have tons of pictures from VIXX’s concert in Chicago that I will never be able to use because I just can’t write enough articles about them and the concert to warrant using over 1200 pictures, so rather than let them go to waste, just sitting on my computer, I’ve decided to just put them all up here and let you enjoy them as you will. Just so you know, I’ve only gotten through about half my pictures so there will be more coming in the near-ish future but I hate making you wait for them when I have all of these ready to go. So, enjoy these pics of VIXX in Chicago and if you want to know what it was like to actually be at this concert, you can read all about my experience here. Musings of K-Pop Fangirl: The Dangers of Having an Ultimate Bias

Group 1

You know, when I first got into K-Pop, I was a pretty casual listener. I’d find a group I liked, give them a listen, appreciate their music and move on. It was a simple life, full of good times and great music but as time went on and my love for K-Pop grew, I began to notice that some bands were stealing a bit more of my time and attention. At the time, I didn’t think much of this, as I chalked it all up to being a fan of the music, but as time went on I found myself skipping over different artists in, what I thought, was an innocent quest to find more music from artists that had somehow managed to catch my eye.
