ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheese in the Trap Episodes 9-10

I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that a school-based drama is so full of well… drama, but I kinda am. I guess I expected more from a college-centered drama than what you typically get in a high school setting but looking back at my own life, I’m reminded that college really isn’t anything more than glorified high school. That being the case, the drama we’re dealing with in these next two episodes makes a bit more sense but it doesn’t make it any easier to handle. FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: High End Crush

This week’s drama to marathon is easily one of the most fun dramas I’ve watched in a long time. I laughed my way through this entire drama and squeed myself silly (okay, silly-er)  in the process. I actually had so much fun watching this drama, I couldn’t stop and ended up marathoning the entire thing myself. TUNE OF THE WEEK: WINNER Takes All

You know, I didn’t really have a whole lot of interest in WINNER when they first debuted. I don’t really know why, they just never grabbed my heart the way other groups did. Well, okay, that’s not entirely true… Kang Seung Yoon managed to steal my heart long before WINNER made their official debut but the group as a whole just didn’t resonate with my soul the way other groups do. There’s no point in trying to deny this anymore so I’m not even going to try. I’ve completely fallen for Baek In Ho and I want nothing but love and happiness and success and dreams come true and sunshine and rainbow ponies for him. I don’t even know if I care about any other character at this point, I just want Baek In Ho to get his life back and become so much more than what he or anyone else believes he can be. TUNE OF THE WEEK: Zico and CNBLUE

You know that old saying, “when it rains it pours?” It’s a total cliché, I know, but it’s really the best way to describe the past week, especially in terms of new K-Pop releases. There have been so many great songs released over such a short period of time, it’s been impossible for me to choose a favorite. FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: Reply 1988

Every once in a while you come across a drama that’s so refreshingly real and relate-able that as you watch it you become so immersed in the story you forget the characters aren’t real people and their lives are completely made up. As the story goes along, you find yourself becoming so convinced of the reality of these characters that they start to feel like your best friends, your neighbors, your family, so much so that by the end of the drama, you’re left bawling your eyes out because you’ve been forced to say goodbye to people you’d much rather keep around forever. To find a drama this incredible is a rare thing indeed so when I find one, you can bet your sweet bippy I’m gonna be recommending it to you which is why I’m sitting here now, trying not to bawl my eyes out as I talk about this week’s drama, Reply 1988. ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheese in the Trap Episodes 3-4

I just have one question going into these next two episodes… Is leaving an upset Yoo Jung standing outside Hong Seol’s place going to be a weekly thing? It happened last week, it happened again this week, if it happens again next week I may have to start throwing things. I suppose it’s a safe way to ensure people stick around to find out what happens next but it leaves me feeling rather anxious and I don’t like that so much. Especially not when I’m still trying to figure out how I feel about Yoo Jung. Is he a good guy? Is he a bad guy? Is he somewhere in the middle? Ugh! How can one person be so darn confusing?
