I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that a school-based drama is so full of well… drama, but I kinda am. I guess I expected more from a college-centered drama than what you typically get in a high school setting but looking back at my own life, I’m reminded that college really isn’t anything more than glorified high school. That being the case, the drama we’re dealing with in these next two episodes makes a bit more sense but it doesn’t make it any easier to handle. FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: High End Crush
This week’s drama to marathon is easily one of the most fun dramas I’ve watched in a long time. I laughed my way through this entire drama and squeed myself silly (okay, silly-er) in the process. I actually had so much fun watching this drama, I couldn’t stop and ended up marathoning the entire thing myself. (Note to Self: Marathoning a drama is fine but squeeing loudly over biases at 2 AM is not advised when tiny zombies are sleeping nearby…) Continue reading “FRIDAY NIGHT DRAMA: High End Crush”
TUNE OF THE WEEK: WINNER Takes All
You know, I didn’t really have a whole lot of interest in WINNER when they first debuted. I don’t really know why, they just never grabbed my heart the way other groups did. Well, okay, that’s not entirely true… Kang Seung Yoon managed to steal my heart long before WINNER made their official debut but the group as a whole just didn’t resonate with my soul the way other groups do. Until now. Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: WINNER Takes All”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheese in the Trap Episodes 7-8
There’s no point in trying to deny this anymore so I’m not even going to try. I’ve completely fallen for Baek In Ho and I want nothing but love and happiness and success and dreams come true and sunshine and rainbow ponies for him. I don’t even know if I care about any other character at this point, I just want Baek In Ho to get his life back and become so much more than what he or anyone else believes he can be. Yup, I’m hopeless. Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheese in the Trap Episodes 7-8”
TUNE OF THE WEEK: Zico and CNBLUE
You know that old saying, “when it rains it pours?” It’s a total cliché, I know, but it’s really the best way to describe the past week, especially in terms of new K-Pop releases. There have been so many great songs released over such a short period of time, it’s been impossible for me to choose a favorite. Of course I’m not going to complain about the deluge of great music because that would be stupid but it does make choosing a single tune to talk about rather difficult, which is why I’m going with two songs this week. Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: Zico and CNBLUE”
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheese in the Trap Episodes 5-6
I know I’m running a bit behind with this one so I’m gonna try to type really fast so I can get caught up. There was a whole lot of cute in these next two episodes and a whole lot of crazy as well. I guess such is the life of college students but it still kinda made my head spin. Or maybe that was just In Ho’s ridiculous cuteness getting to me. Hmmm… Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheese in the Trap Episodes 5-6”
K-POP ATE HER BRAIN: CROSS GENE “Noona You”
I’m sure most of you know CROSS GENE made their comeback last week with a catchy little ditty called, “Noona, You” (누나 너 말야). I’m also sure most of you know what I’m about to say about this rather fabulous song because you’re saying it with me. If you haven’t a clue where I’m going with this, let me just say it starts with something that goes a lot like this… Continue reading “K-POP ATE HER BRAIN: CROSS GENE “Noona You””
TUNE OF THE WEEK: Teen Top “Warning Sign”
Do you have any idea how hard it is to pick just one “Tune” when there are so many great songs have been released in the past week!?! It’s nearly impossible! Still, I had to do my best and though there are other songs I really want to squee over, I’m going with Teen Top’s latest release for now because it’s just so darn good! Continue reading “TUNE OF THE WEEK: Teen Top “Warning Sign””
ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheese in the Trap Episodes 3-4
I just have one question going into these next two episodes… Is leaving an upset Yoo Jung standing outside Hong Seol’s place going to be a weekly thing? It happened last week, it happened again this week, if it happens again next week I may have to start throwing things. I suppose it’s a safe way to ensure people stick around to find out what happens next but it leaves me feeling rather anxious and I don’t like that so much. Especially not when I’m still trying to figure out how I feel about Yoo Jung. Is he a good guy? Is he a bad guy? Is he somewhere in the middle? Ugh! How can one person be so darn confusing? Continue reading “ZOMBIE’S DRAMA REVIEW: Cheese in the Trap Episodes 3-4”
